The UV germicidal light air purification device for canalized systems is effective in disinfecting and purifying the air thanks to the double ionisation dedusting, the catalytic contact sterilization and oxidation and the absorption of the active carbon of harmful gases.
TiO2 technology, which uses a known catalyst such as titanium dioxide, is capable of degrading numerous organic compounds by oxidation. At the basis of this technology is the photocatalysis oxidative process in which titanium dioxide, in the presence of ultraviolet (UV) rays, attracts and retains the moisture molecules, naturally present in the air, capturing fine particles and with them the 'nitrogen oxide: in this oxidation process, which already occurs in nature, a faster decomposition of substances harmful to human health is promoted.
This product is capable of:
- effectively eliminate microorganisms harmful to human health such as mold, legionella, viruses (hepatitis, SARS, coronavirus, avian influenza, influenza);
- decompose organic compounds present in the air such as benzene, formaldehyde, ammonia, ether, TVOC and other organic chemical compounds;
- eliminate bad smells.
In addition to the feature of being able to be installed flexibly in different positions, the UV lamp is equipped with patented high efficiency disinfection technology: the center for the control and prevention of diseases in the PRC, in fact, confirms that the bacterial reduction rate in a continuous cycle it reaches 99% (in line with the health commissions of many countries).
Being free of moving parts, the UV lamp is completely silent and, thanks to its "plug-in" structural design, operations such as installation, maintenance, disassembly and cleaning are much simpler and faster.
To conclude, this device can be connected with the ducted indoor unit so that it only comes into operation when the air conditioning system is turned on.

Elettrodomex Srl undertakes, during the warranty period specified below, to repair (at its warehouse) or replace as soon as possible those parts or products that prove defective, provided that this does not depend on breakages or failures caused by incompetence or negligence of the customer, lack of maintenance, use outside the technical specifications or purposes of use, fortuitous events or major force.
The warranty period is 24 months from the invoice date (12 months for professional buyers and users), therefore any lack of conformity must be reported within 24 months after the date of purchase (12 months for professional buyers and users). The time limit within which the defect of the product must be communicated from the moment it is manifested is 2 months.
The lack of conformity can be found for malfunction, manufacturing defect, discrepancy between what was sold and what was received by the Customer
The warranty will apply to products that show conformity defects or faults not found or found at the time of purchase, provided they have been used correctly and in compliance with their destination and as required by any technical documents. The warranty will not be applied in case of negligence and carelessness from the customer, as well as mechanical or electronic changes not prescribed by the manufacturer.
