The PUMY-P112YKM5 outdoor unit is part of the new Small Y series from Mitsubishi Electric and represents the optimal solution for large apartments or offices. Through the connection of the dedicated 3 or 5-door Branch Boxes, it is possible to connect up to a maximum of 8 indoor units, of different power and type. This unit has particularly high energy efficiency values, its operation is guaranteed up to -20 ° C and stands out for its low noise, all features that make it flexible and suitable for every need.
As for the associated indoor units, in addition to the classic ones of the Residential and Commercial lines, it is also possible to associate this unit with the City Multi VRF units (for a maximum extension of the pipes up to 300 meters).

The PUMY-P112YKM5 external motor was designed with the aim of achieving maximum energy efficiency values both during summer (EER) and winter (COP) operation; PUMY-P112YKM2 can boast COP values above 4, a feature that allows its use even in regions where current legislation imposes more restrictive performance limits.

Extremely flexible installation
An enormously flexible installation is guaranteed by the wide possibilities of pipe development. It is also possible to develop a mixed system that in addition to the use of the indoor units of the Family and Commercial lines via Branch-Box provides for the direct connection of indoor units of the City Multi VRF line; in this configuration, the maximum limits for the development of pipelines that reach 300m in length and 50m in altitude increase.
M-NET Branch Box
The PAC-MK30BC and PAC-MK50BC branch boxes are designed for a direct connection to MELANS control and supervision systems. To connect a system consisting of internal units of the Family or Commercial Line to an M-Net centralizer it is therefore not necessary to provide any dedicated interface but it will be sufficient to exploit the branch-boxes and connect them to the communication bus consisting of a simple two-wire cable. polarized.
Maximum silence
The new ventilators with blade profile have the ability to significantly reduce the generated noise, while ensuring a high air flow rate. The PUMY-P112YKM5 outdoor unit can also work in «Silent» mode, further reducing the sound emissions by 2 dB (A). By connecting a timer or an external switch it is also possible to associate this mode to a pre-set time slot.
