Details

The tightfit, which meets the most stringent safety requirements that ensure a leak-free seal, is a fitting that does not require brazing and is suitable for use with refrigerant piping: the piping, therefore, can be coupled easily and quickly without use special tools.

The Tightfit fittings, characterized by a double edge jaw that blocks the pipe ensuring an airtight seal, are extremely robust (able to withstand 4 times the maximum operating pressure of the R32 refrigerant gas). They are available in two types (standard or asymmetric) and are equipped with exclusive mechanical and resin seals to prevent any leakage.

Installing Tightfit joints is very simple and only requires 4 simple steps (see photo).

1. Input line marking
Mark the standard "T" or "L" insertion line with the marking template (code SDGT_GAUGE) and with a marker in the correct position of each pipe size.

2. Insertion of the tubing
Insert firmly by hand until the tubing stops and then ensure that the standard insertion line is no longer visible.

3. Tightening the nut
Support the main body and tighten the nut by hand, then repeat the operation with a wrench until the green indicator disappears and the nut comes into contact with the flat surface of the body.

4. Check
The green indicator must be hidden or at least the "L" shaped mark must fit into the notch: to check this, simply place the marking template on the end surface of the nut and make sure that the mark fits completely into the notch of the template.

Airclima Elettrodomex Srl undertakes, during the warranty period specified below, to repair (at its own warehouse) or replace as quickly as possible any parts or products found to be defective, provided that the defect is not due to damage or malfunction caused by the customer’s incompetence or negligence, lack of maintenance, use outside of the technical specifications or intended purpose, accidental events, or force majeure.

The warranty period is 24 months from the invoice date (12 months for professional buyers and users); therefore, any lack of conformity must be reported within 24 months from the date of purchase (12 months for professional buyers and users). The defect must be reported within 2 months from the moment it becomes apparent.

The lack of conformity may result from malfunction or manufacturing defect.

The warranty applies to products that present defects of conformity or hidden defects found at the time of purchase, provided they have been used correctly and in accordance with their intended purpose and any technical documentation. The warranty does not apply in cases of customer negligence or improper care, as well as in the event of mechanical or electronic modifications.
