City Multi Series WY VRF systems inherit all the Y series benefits using water condensation and evaporation units. Water condensing units have the peculiarity of being able to be installed inside buildings, allowing extreme design flexibility. With regard to the outdoor unit, up to 26 indoor units can be connected to a single condensing unit and up to 50 indoor units to a modular system with both individualized and centralized control. The 2-pipe system allows the transition from cooling to heating and vice versa, ensuring high comfort in all air-conditioned environments.
Geothermal applications
The outdoor units series WY lend themselves perfectly to the field of geothermal energy because it exploits a fluid carrier such as water: starting from 10 meters below ground level, it maintains a constant temperature thus avoiding significant temperature variations throughout the year. A geothermal system uses the ground as a source of heat in winter, while in summer it is used as a source of heat. Through the use of geothermal probes, ie heat exchangers, and VRF City Multi WY systems is possible to extract heat to heat the room in winter and give heat to the ground to cool the environment during the summer.
